The Ultraslim Max system is a low profile underfloor heating system, designed to provide maximum heat output for refurbishment projects. The system incorporates a 12mm underfloor heating pipe within a floor panel, which is then covered with 20mm of reinforced levelling compound. The system is designed so that it must be laid directly onto a structural and level sub-floor, not onto any loose flooring or insulation layer. This could be either a concrete sub floor or chipboard floor, but it must be structurally sound as the Ultraslim Max system with 20mm compound is not structural.

Suitable Floor Constructions

  • Solid / Screed
  • Beam & Block
  • Suspended Timber

Suitable Floor Finishes

  • Tiles
  • Wood
  • Vinyl
  • Carpet

Notes

  • For soft floor coverings (carpet / vinyl) and synthetic resin floors, a calcium sulphate based leveling compound of at least 4mm should be laid over the complete UltraSlim Max system.
