Carpet

A popular cossy floor finish but one of the best heat releases. Carpet allows heat to pass through it's fibres very easily as long as the base of the Carpet is not felt or polythene and not a good thermal insulator as that will reflect the heat and make it difficult for heat to diffuse. The TOG Rating should not exceed 2.5tog.

Existing Screed, Plywood, Wood, OSB

For an Exisiting Screed, Plywood, Wood or OSB we would recomend the FloorTec  ranage.

The addition of  Izotherm  insulation adds an extra layer of heat loss prevition to the screed.  Izotherm  traps the heat and stops it from dispursing through the sub-floor, allowing you to get the most out of you're uHeat underfloor heating system.

New Build

For a new build we would recomend the Elektra In-Screed heating cable, these cables are installed before the screed laid.
